interests include the use of medical acupuncture techniques for pain control,
as well as electrodiagnostic studies. Fracture care is provided for patients of all ages using
the latest technologies available. For example, in addition to a regular
X-ray machine, we have a Fluoroscan machine which allows for taking of
real-time X-rays in the office with negligible radiation. Sports injuries are treated with the latest orthopedic
techniques. When surgery is indicated, the arthroscopic approach rather
than open surgery is routinely used. Patients with arthritis and other joint problems are usually
helped by conservative means, utilizing the latest advances in medications
and physical therapy. We care for a wide range of spine problems, from neck and
back sprains to disc herniations and arthritis. Our approach is conservative,
and we believe that the majority of neck and back problems can be successfully
treated without need for narcotics or surgery. We also stress education
to prevent future recurrences. We take a proactive approach towards occupational injuries
which include back problems, cumulative trauma disorders such as carpal
tunnel syndrome, and shoulder and knee injuries.
Under the direction of Dr. Andrew Chong, the team has extensive
experience with pediatric and adolescent orthopedics and treat a wide
array of congenital problems including foot disorders and hip dysplasia. PHYSICAL THERAPY AND REHABILITATION We specialize in orthopedic physical therapy and utilize
the latest technology for effective rehabilitation of injured adults and
